Job Description

Good Samaritan University Hospital is excited to host our next AORN Periop 101 program! This program will begin on July 6th, 2026.

 

This 1-year program is an exciting opportunity for May 2026 BSN Graduates and experienced RN’s looking to begin their career in Perioperative nursing. The program will include several modes of learning meant to prepare you to work in our Level I ACS Trauma Center for both Adults and Pediatric patients.

 

This program includes didactic work in classroom setting, videos, certification of Periop 101 upon completion, lab series in the operating rooms, rotations through various surgical services and a preceptorship.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
  • Licensure: NYS Registered Nurse License
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)

USD $54.48 - USD $74.72 /Hr.
