Job Description

Hours: 20 Hours per week (Flexible scheduling available) 

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Photography (Indoor): Execute high-resolution studio shots of our product line. This includes tabletop photography, macro shots, and "hero" images.
  • Lifestyle Photography (Outdoor): Capture our products "in the wild." You will be responsible for scouting local outdoor locations, managing natural light, and directing talent (when applicable) to create authentic, aspirational content.
  • Lighting & Composition: Utilize our limited in-house lighting equipment to create consistent, brand-aligned aesthetics.
  • Post-Production: Perform basic retouching, color correction, and cropping to ensure all assets are ready and meet brand standards. Photoshop skill highly desired.
  • Asset Management: Organize and upload final files to our digital asset management system according to established naming conventions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in both controlled studio product photography and dynamic outdoor lifestyle photography.
  • Technical Savvy: Expert knowledge of DSLR/Mirrorless camera systems, manual settings, and various focal lengths.
  • Lighting Expertise: Experience working with strobe or continuous studio lighting (we provide the lights, you provide the vision).
  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Lightroom and Photoshop).
  • Self-Starter: Ability to manage your 20-hour week efficiently, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.

Equipment Requirements

  • Required: Ownership of a professional-grade DSLR or Mirrorless camera body and a versatile set of lenses (e.g., 35mm, 50mm, or 85mm primes and a macro lens).
  • Provided: We provide a dedicated indoor studio space and a standard continuous/strobe lighting kit.
