Job Description

 

Are you looking for a role where you will truly make a difference and contribute to a growing industry in Canada? ECO Canada is looking for a performance-driven individual to join the team immediately. Reporting to the Event Manager, the successful candidate will have a passion for the environment and experience in Marketing and Events.

 

As a key member of the Marketing Team, the Event Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating logistics, communications, and on-site execution of events. Contributing to event planning and coordination, and delivering organized and impactful events from concept to completion.

This is a temporary, in-office role supported by funding from the Canada Summer Jobs 2026 program.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate event logistics
  • Manage communications
  • Oversee registration and attendee experience
  • Support marketing and promotions
  • Coordinate vendors and suppliers
  • Provide on-site event support
  • Collect feedback and evaluate success

Qualifications and Education

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Development, Engineering, IT, or related discipline
  • Diploma or degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Experience in event planning, coordination, or project administration
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication ability
