The Role
The specialist assistant role will be required to perform tasks to support Financial Analysis of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) on a daily basis, general administration tasks to support the business, local HR support as required, management of customer portal for Supplier Data Requirements List (SDRL) Deliverables, and assist the General Manager as required. The Specialist Assistant is responsible for the smooth running of the admin tasks deemed necessary of the business. This position will report directly to the General Manager of the business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis of Product for COGS verification
- Conducted daily revenue reporting and analysis
- Support HR Manager with recruitment activities, monitoring and recording employee attendance, leave, and sickness and other HR administrative activities
- Management of Customer SDRL portal
- Deal with incoming and outgoing mail daily distributing where necessary
- Answer incoming calls
- Support visitors to site
- Support General Manager when required
- General administration activities
- Ad hoc duties where required (site maintenance & services etc)
- Other ad hoc duties as specified by the General Manager
- Organised quarterly staff events, including the annual Christmas party
- Coordinated off-site management meetings, recording and distributing key action points
- Arranged quarterly all-site meetings, including catering
- Managed stock control and inventory processes to ensure accuracy and availability
Job Requirements
- Previous administrative experience
- Experience in Manufacturing Environment
- Excellent IT Skills – Advanced Excel skills (Required)
- Good communication skills
- Able to work on own initiative
- ERP System experience
- Finance & HR admin experience
