Reports to Senior Manager, Network and Infrastructure

Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) is a private radiology practice composed of over 100 radiologists serving 10 hospitals across Colorado. We also provide diagnostic services for more than 40 locations throughout Colorado and Hawaii.

RIA is committed to delivering the highest quality specialty-based diagnostic imaging, image-guided therapy, and associated medical care. We operate Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ), a network of 12 outpatient imaging centers located throughout South Denver and Colorado Springs, offering a wide range of exams using state-of-the-art equipment.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Network & Systems Administrator to support and maintain a secure, high-availability infrastructure within a healthcare environment. This role combines network administration with core server and virtualization responsibilities, managing Cisco and Cisco Meraki networking technologies alongside Windows Server, Linux systems, and VMware environments. The ideal candidate will have strong network configuration and troubleshooting skills, hands-on server administration experience, and an understanding of the importance of system performance in patient care systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, manage, and support routers, switches, and firewalls in a healthcare environment.
  • Administer Cisco Meraki networks including switches, security appliances, and wireless access points through the Meraki Dashboard.
  • Maintain and support Windows Server and Linux systems, including patching, performance tuning, and system hardening.
  • Manage and support VMware virtualization environments (ESXi, vCenter), including VM provisioning, resource allocation, and high availability.
  • Maintain reliable connectivity for clinical applications, PACS imaging systems, EHR platforms, and medical devices.
  • Troubleshoot network performance, latency, and connectivity issues affecting clinical workflows and imaging systems.
  • Configure and manage VLANs, routing, DHCP, DNS, and secure VPN access for clinical and administrative systems.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and availability across both network and server environments to support 24/7 healthcare operations.
  • Assist with network upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Assist with network upgrades, infrastructure upgrades, server lifecycle management and virtualization optimization.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, server environments, virtualization architecture, and system dependencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of combined network and/or systems administration experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment and Cisco Meraki cloud-managed networks, Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy), Linux server administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar) and VMware environments (ESXi, vCenter).
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, routing, VPNs, and firewall configuration.
  • Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across both network and system layers.
  • Experience supporting high-availability or mission-critical environments.
  • High School Diploma required at minimum

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP).
  • Experience with network monitoring, traffic analysis, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, vRealize, Nagios).
  • Experience supporting multi-site healthcare networks or hospital systems.

Compensation for this role is between $95,000 to $130,000 on an annual basis

In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associate’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position will receive applications on an ongoing basis, and will remain open until filled.

Full-time employees will become eligible for benefits on the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment. Part-time employees may have access to some of these benefits, which may be on a pro-rated basis. PRN employees are not eligible for benefits.
