Job Purpose
The Professional Services Consultant is a member of our consulting group
that delivers configurable solutions to our end user customers and partners.
The Professional Services Consultant is represented to our Partners and End
Users as being the subject matter expert in the configuration and customization
of all Kofax products.
Key Responsibilities
- The Professional Services Consultant
must be able to: - Deliver Kofax solutions to customer
based on requirements document - Provide technical leadership to customer
on Kofax solutions as configured to the customer’s requirements - Work closely with project manager to
keep projects on schedule and within budget - Function as the Kofax subject matter
expert when onsite at the customer’s location - Work independently in developing a
solution per the customer’s requirements - Document all customer-specific
configurations - Install Kofax configuration on the
customer’s hardware; includes installation of Kofax in a highly available
configuration and disaster recovery - Assess requirements, design, and
implement Kofax SAP solutions for FPA - Assist customers in defining best
practice processes for invoice handling and associated processes - Write functional and technical design
documents - Define acceptance criteria and gain
acceptance for completed projects in a timely fashion - Monitor and report progress against
objectives and milestones for customer and internal projects - Perform product configuration
- Develop customized solutions using ABAP
- Assist the customer in the development
of test plans - Test customized, configured solution
before delivery to customer - Analyze and troubleshoot customer
problems during project. - Document the customer’s solution for
delivery to the customer and for the Support Department. - Take active part in the development of
the Consulting Services department, the project model, and internal
processes and procedures. - Other
duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in
Computer Science, Information Systems or related specialization. - 6-10 years’ experience in the field or a
related area preferred - Working knowledge of configuration for
FICO is a must - SAP Certification/CA/CPA/MBA finance is added advantage
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Analytical and communication and
problem-solving skills - Worked closely with ABAP, Basis, Data
Warehouse and other teams in design and implementation of SAP FI
functionalities - Solid understanding of the integration
with MM and SD is essential - Good understanding of EDI/IDocs, process
codes, partner profiles, etc. - Worked on FI-Logistics processes like
buy-sell process, third party shipment, intercompany transactions etc. - In-depth knowledge and Hands On
expertise in configuring FICO modules GL, AP, AR, Rev Recognition - Good knowledge in CO areas like cost
center accounting, profile center accounting, COPA. - Experienced in writing detailed
functional specifications, prepare test scenarios, write test scripts and
perform end-to-end testing - Accounting background and good process
knowledge is highly preferred.
- Provide solutions including how to leverage standard SAP S/4 HANA Finance functionality and how to enable requirements while maximizing the ROI
- Demonstrates the ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and understands the long-term and short-term perspectives of an IT investment situation
- Must be able to dive into existing code to figure out how objects need to be enhanced. Proven ability to provide technical direction for complex SAP S/4 finance system issues
- Support and promote integration relationships between IT and business functions
- Provide accurate timelines for specific tasks assigned
- Knowledge on S4 is preferred including the new Finance structures and Account based COPA.
- Knowledge of IT/Document Processing/Data Capture business
- Knowledge about system development
- Knowledge about workflow, ERP, SAP R/3, archive and/or document management systems.
- Understands all standard concepts, practices and procedures in the field
- Understands computer systems basics, hardware and software
- Personal integrity, customer focus and positive attitude.
- Handles multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience and desire to work in a
management-consulting environment that requires regular travel.
- Presenting technical concepts in common language
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Works well on a team, without supervision and under a deadline.
