Partnering with the business, marketing, technology and data teams, you will drive a digital transformation agenda to improve our marketing effectiveness and deliver better experiences for our customers. 

What you'll do

The Head of Marketing Technology Engineering & Delivery will lead the strategy, development, and optimisation of marketing technology platforms and solutions that enable data-driven, personalized, and scalable marketing initiatives. This role bridges Marketing and Technology and works closely with our data teams ensuring seamless integration of tools, automation, and analytics to drive customer engagement and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Collaborate with the Head of MarTech to define and execute the marketing technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead a team of engineers and technical specialists to deliver high-quality MarTech solutions.
• Lead a team of delivery specialists to support the delivery of key MarTech capabilities and features
• Collaborate with marketing, data, and IT teams to ensure technology supports campaign goals and customer experience.

Technology Management

• Oversee development, and integration of marketing platforms
• Ensure scalability, security, and compliance of all MarTech systems.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.

Operational Excellence

• Establish best practices for development, deployment, and maintenance of MarTech solutions.
• Understand the vendor roadmaps for existing a new products to ensure contract and business value is unlocked
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for marketing technology services.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience of leading Technology or Data teams with a strong focus on MarTech or digital marketing engineering.
• Proven experience managing large-scale marketing technology ecosystems.
• Proficiency in CRM, CDP, marketing automation, CMS, and analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of APIs, cloud infrastructure, data integration, and security protocols.
• Exceptional team management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to translate marketing needs into technical solutions.
• Strategic thinker with strong technical acumen.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Experience of the Adobe product set

How you’ll work  

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.

On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed, and even get pampered at our beauty salon.

Sky Watermark is our central site for Livingston, sitting between Glasgow and Edinburgh. With vibrant office spaces, chill-out areas, and an onsite canteen, it’s a great place to work and connect.  

The nearest train station is Livingston North. A Sky shuttle bus runs between the station and campus every 20 minutes throughout the day. Plus, there’s onsite parking available for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.
