Role Overview

We are hiring a hands-on HR & Payroll Coordinator with experience supporting field-based teams (such as biohazard remediation, HVAC, plumbing, restoration, construction, etc.). You’ll manage timekeeping, payroll processing, and overtime compliance for an hourly workforce with irregular schedules. You will also provide backup support to the client relations team, including handling intake calls. If you’ve ever had to chase down techs for missing timecards, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

  •  Review and fix timecards (missed punches, travel time, after-hours work) 
  •  Ensure accurate overtime and wage compliance
  •  Process payroll using systems like ADP or similar
  •  Resolve payroll discrepancies quickly and accurately 
  •  Support onboarding and employee setup 
  •  Answer employee questions related to pay and policies 
What You Bring

  •  1–3 years of payroll/HR experience in a field-service environment
  •  Hands-on experience with hourly employees and irregular schedules
  •  Strong understanding of overtime rules and payroll corrections
  •  Experience with full payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, or similar)
Candidates without hands-on experience in a full payroll platform will not be considered.

Strongly Preferred

  •  Experience with ADP Workforce Now or ADP TotalSource
  •  Multi-state payroll exposure
