Job Description:

Ultrasound Supervisor (Urology Practice) - Float

Location: Float West (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island, NY)

Hours: 5 /8.5 Hour Shifts; Monday-Friday

Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)
 

In This Role, You Will:

  • Perform all core ultrasound technologist duties, including travel to all urology locations as needed

  • Support the development, implementation, and oversight of departmental and exam protocols

  • Serve as the primary clinical resource and point of contact for ultrasound technologists

  • Coordinate ultrasound machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting technical issues

  • Maintain oversight of technologist credentials and compliance requirements

  • Conduct exam review and ongoing quality assurance activities

  • Address provider concerns and serve as the primary clinical liaison

  • Manage AIUM responsibilities, including initial accreditation, renewals, provider CME tracking, and case acquisition

  • Act as ViewPoint PACS superuser, providing system support and submitting IT tickets as needed

  • Provide go-live support for new providers and clinical sites

  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new staff

  • Lead new hire training and ongoing technologist education

  • Support practice administrators with staff performance evaluations

  • Travel to NYI locations throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, and other nearby locations for patient care needs


 

We Require:

  • Graduate of accredited ultrasound program or equivocal

  • ARDMS(Ab) certification 

  • Bachelors/Associates degree preferred 

  • Minimum 2 year relevant leadership experience  

  • Urology specific experience a plus
