You will be part of a team responsible for developing a smart energy management application that monitors connected devices and allows users to configure and schedule automatic power on/off times through a user interface. The application aims to reduce energy consumption, improve efficiency, and support more sustainable operations across all connected devices.
In this role, you will contribute to both backend and frontend development while working on features that enable real-time device monitoring and automated energy control.
Duration: 4h/day
Period: 6-31 July and 20 August-18 September
Submission deadline: May, 6th
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features for a smart energy management application
- Implement device monitoring and control functionalities
- Build user interface components for scheduling and configuration
- Develop backend services to support device communication and data handling
- Integrate frontend and backend components into a working application
- Work with databases to store device states and scheduling data
- Support testing and debugging of application features
- Collaborate with the team to improve performance and usability
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program
- Applicants may apply to a maximum of 2 projects
- Knowledge of Python and Flask for backend development
- Experience with React for frontend development
- Basic understanding of MongoDB
