Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator – Accounts Payable  to join our Resource Group Team at our Mumbai office. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Life Sciences function. This position will be reported to Assistant Manager.
 

Coordinator – Accounts Payable  is responsible for:   

  • Handling a company's incoming invoices to verify, track, and pay the invoices on time for EMEA Region in Coupa and SAP.
  • Handling open payables and taking necessary action to clear them.
  • Responsible for tracking multiple invoices and follow up with vendor for processing invoices on time.
  • Handling of vendor payment queries and provide resolutions.
  • Negotiate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment terms or an invoice dispute/anomaly.
  • Coordinating and resolving the payment issues with Master data and Treasury team.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records of invoices and correspondence.
  • Responsible for identifying typographical errors in incoming invoices and communicating with vendors or requestors for corrections.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes, tax codes as per EMEA Region.

Taking additional responsibilities, acquiring new activities and extracting reports proactively based on internal client requirements to analyze the action items

Education/Experience:

  • Any Graduation.
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Proven experience at office administration
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Well-organized and reliable
