What to Expect in the Role:
- Generate purchase orders for the shop
- Maintain/balance fuel distributions.
- Enter inventory distributions
- File records
- Inventory distributions
- Order inventory items
- Answer shop phones
- Maintain inventory of shop purchase orders
- Assist shop manager in general day-to-day functions
- Transport parts
- Order shop office supplies
- Generate vehicle mileage logs
- Follow required safety procedures
- Keep work area and equipment clean
- Attend and participate in company safety programs
- Assist in training new employees
- Must be computer literate
- Requires ability to understand oral and written instructions with ability to convey ideas and information relating to the assigned task
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Requires ability to understand and comply with posted work rules and procedures
- Majority of work is performed in the shop office and shop area
- Work requires exposure to all temperature and weather extremes, loud noises, moving equipment, wetness, dust, fumes.
- Requires working around fuels, oil, paints, lubricants, solvents, and various other products located in the shop.
