Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Friendsview Retirement Community (Newberg, OR)

Starting Wages: $25.75 - $31.00/hr. DOE
Training Schedule: 8 am to 4:30 pm training

Regular schedule: 12 pm -8:30 pm, Monday -Friday with some weekends required.

This is a full-time position eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits.

Are you good with your hands and enjoy fixing things? We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to help keep our community safe and comfortable for our residents!

What You’ll Do:

Fix and Maintain: Help with plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and simple electrical repairs.
Work with a Team: Team up with your supervisor and other technicians to get jobs done.
Tools and Equipment: Use and maintain tools to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Follow Safety Rules: Keep everyone safe by following safety guidelines.
Work Orders: Keep track of tasks and let others know the status.
Train New Staff: Help show new team members how things are done.
Event Support: Help set up for community events and assist with safety drills as needed.

What You Need:

2-4 years of experience in maintenance or similar work.
Ability to work with tools and fix basic problems.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must pass a background check, DMV check and drug test.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. and work on your feet for long periods.
