Role Overview

As a BIM Engineer focused on retail environments, you will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and scaling design programs for globally recognized brands. Your primary objective is to transform architectural intent into standardized, efficient, and scalable BIM systems that support hundreds of retail locations worldwide. This position combines advanced Revit expertise, deep architectural understanding, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines to ensure design integrity, rollout efficiency, and brand consistency. Within your first year, success will be measured by your ability to deliver robust BIM standards, automate content creation workflows, and strengthen the company's multi-site design delivery infrastructure.

Why This Role Is a Career Move

You'll help shape BIM systems used by some of the world's leading retail brands, moving beyond one-off projects into portfolio-level influence. This role accelerates your growth in BIM leadership by giving you ownership of standards, prototypes, and workflows used across hundreds of locations.

Why Your Work Will Matter

Your models and standards will directly impact how quickly and accurately retailers launch new stores. By translating design intent into scalable BIM systems, you'll improve consistency, reduce errors, and help global teams deliver high-quality environments at speed.

What You'll Do

You'll develop BIM standards and modular Revit templates, ensure model quality across programs, and train design teams in best practices. You'll refine workflows, partner with clients to align digital standards with brand goals and introduce automation or AI tools that enhance efficiency.

Apply if you have:

  • A bachelor's and/or master's degree in architecture or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working on retail or multi-site architecture projects with significant exposure to prototype/rollout programs.
  • 3+ years managing BIM workflows and standards, including leading teams and interfacing directly with clients.
  • Deep Revit expertise, including family creation, template development, and prototype-based rollouts.
  • Strong project management skills and can break down large initiatives into manageable tasks to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating directly with owner-side teams (store planning, brand design, construction).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills and are able to guide conversations, resolve conflicts, and build alignment.
  • A positive, proactive, solution-oriented mindset and desire to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
