Summary:
The STEAM / Technology Paraeducator supports student learning by delivering engaging lessons and enrichment activities in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM). This role works collaboratively with classroom teachers to enhance instruction, foster creativity, and promote problem-solving skills in an elementary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver small-group and whole-class STEAM and technology lessons


• Facilitate hands-on, project-based learning and enrichment activities


• Support integration of technology into classroom instruction


• Assist students in developing critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity skills


• Prepare materials and maintain STEAM resources and equipment


• Provide supervision and support during activities to ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment


• Collaborate with teachers and staff to align activities with curriculum goals

Qualifications:

• Experience working with elementary-aged students


• Basic knowledge of technology tools and STEAM concepts


• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills


• Ability to engage and motivate young learners

Work Environment:
Elementary school setting with a focus on hands-on, interactive learning experiences
