T2S Solutions currently has an opening for a DoD SkillBridge - Accounting/Finance Fellowship in support of our Finance team.

Summary

This Accounting/Finance Fellowship will assist our Accounting/Finance team with audit preparation, account reconciliations, accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR) processes, and vendor management. You�ll also gain valuable exposure to government contracting, cost accounting standards, and internal control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-of-year audit activities, including document collection, sample preparation, and variance analysis
• Assist with monthly account reconciliations and general ledger review
• Process accounts payable invoices, verify coding, and ensure timely vendor payments
• Help manage accounts receivable, billing, and collections tracking
• Maintain vendor records, including new vendor setup and compliance documentation
• Review and organize financial data for reporting and compliance purposes
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency within accounting operations
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and project management teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with DoD financial policies

Desired Experience

• General office or administrative experience (or military equivalent)

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to double-check your work
• Good communication skills and openness to asking questions
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple small tasks
• A desire to learn how corporate finance and accounting functions operate within a DoD-focused organization
• Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude in a team environment
