Overview Role Overview The Integrated Operations Lead is the senior owner responsible for the integrated operating model across Publicis, spanning multiple agencies and locations, in partnership with the Groupe Client Lead (GCL) and senior agency leadership. This role also includes direct accountability for Leo Chicago delivery. The role ensures Publicis operates as a single, integrated organization for the client – driving clarity, prioritization and predictability. This leader functions as both a relationship-builder and a delivery-first operator, balancing strategic oversight with decisive intervention when opportunities, gaps or risks emerge. Partnering closely with agency leadership and client counterparts, the role ensures the Integrated Agency Team (IAT) functions as a cohesive, high-performing ecosystem rather than a collection of disconnected workstreams. Core Scope IAT / Cross-Agency: Owns integrated delivery standards, governance and operating health across agencies Leo Chicago: Owns operational execution, resourcing, financial stewardship and delivery integrity for Leo Chicago within the IAT model Responsibilities Integrated Operating Model & Governance Owns the end-to-end operating model for how work is requested, planned, staffed, delivered and tracked across the IAT Establishes and maintains clear governance, decision rights, escalation paths and prioritization frameworks in partnership with IAT and client leadership Ensures consistent, streamlined agency-client engagement that presents the IAT as a unified team Defines clear roles and responsibilities, and interfaces across agencies to eliminate duplication and ambiguity Translates client business objectives into clear operating expectations for agencies in partnership with the GCL Oversees satisfaction of MSA requirements in partnership with the GCL Delivery Leadership & Risk Management Serves as the delivery lead for the account, maintaining a 30,000-ft view of all work in flight across brand and campaign workstreams Establishes strong rapport with client and agency stakeholders, with a deep understanding of their perspectives and priorities, and an ability to interface in impactful ways Partners with agencies to proactively identify delivery, resourcing, financial and dependency risks; develops and drives mitigation plans Intervenes decisively to resolve conflicts, protect delivery timelines and maintain client confidence Translates complex delivery status into clear, executive-level summaries and recommendations Comfortable leading conversations (even when they may be difficult) with internal and client stakeholders to balance feasibility, fiscal responsibility and delivery quality Financial, Scope & Commercial Stewardship Oversees and manages annual scoping for the IAT, acting as central liaison between IAT agencies / Finance and clients / procurement, ensuring alignment to agreed parameters, procedures and financial guardrails Leads development and management of Leo Chicago scope, fees and staff plan – including annual SOWs, future-year planning and fee structures Tracks agency fees across Leo Chicago and the IAT, flagging overages, burn risks and optimization opportunities Develops and manages out-of-scope estimates and change orders in partnership with Business Leadership, Finance and department leads Partners with Finance to ensure accurate burn tracking, forecasting and financial visibility Project Management for Leo Chicago Partners with the Business Leadership team on the account to prioritize Leo Chicago work and define project owners (this role is expected to own projects as capacity and priorities allow) Owns PM governance, ensuring projects are viable, resourced appropriately and aligned to scope, timeline and budget Creates smart, detailed project plans for owned initiatives, and provides oversight for initiatives owned by the Business Leadership team. This includes timeline alignment, milestone visibility, dependency management and accountability for consistent updates Oversees tracking of annual Leo Chicago scope and deliverables, participating in regular deliverables tracking forums Attends IAT Lead status meetings to represent delivery health, risks and interdependencies Resourcing & Capacity Leadership Owns coordination with Resourcing for Leo Chicago to provide clarity on timelines, forecasting and project deliverables, which will inform casting, optimization and expectation-setting Partners with discipline leads to identify skill needs, gaps and opportunities, escalating delivery risks and partnering with Resource Management to address Owns accuracy and integrity of resourcing and staffing tool inputs (e.g., PPM), ensuring forward-looking visibility and alignment, along with consistent updates Tools, Process & Ways of Working Establishes the minimum necessary standards for tools, templates, workflows and operating rhythms – balancing consistency with flexibility Leads development, rollout and governance of frameworks such as digital asset management and integrated tracking tools Identifies opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce duplication and evolve operating practices based on performance insights Translates data, patterns and historical insights into actionable recommendations and forward-looking decisions Client & Agency Partnership Acts as a trusted senior operational partner to the client, advocating appropriately for both client needs and agency realities Coordinates IAT participation in client forums, ensuring clarity, preparedness and alignment Buids strong relationships across agencies and teams, serving as a reliable source of direction and resolution Qualifications Leadership Profile Brings clarity, structure and calm to complex, high-pressure environments Proactive, anticipatory thinker who works ahead of risk rather than reacting to it Strong collaborator who can also operate autonomously and make principled tradeoffs Solution-oriented and deeply accountable Qualifications 6-10+ years of experience in agency operations, delivery leadership, project management or integrated account leadership Proven experience leading complex, multi-agency or integrated team models Strong financial acumen with hands-on scope, fee and budget management experience Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills Experience working with operational, resourcing and tracking tools NOTE: This is a hybrid position that requires 4 days/week on-site (Mondays and Fridays are mandatory) at our 35 W. Compensation Range: $121,315- $174,300/year This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
