The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.
Griffin residence is a spacious Victorian house located in a historic section of Catskill. It is home to a married couple and four independent, energetic men, who like to stay busy, while learning the skills they need to gain as much control over their lives as possible. A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.
HOURS: 40/Sunday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm/Monday and Tuesday 11:00 am to 9:00 pm/Wednesday 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
STARTING SALARY: $ 18.26 to $ 20.09 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable
