Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Summer Manufacturing Support)

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Strong basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Excellent eyesight, with or without correction, for close inspection work
• Familiarity with basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers) and basic mechanical concepts preferred
• Ability to follow and adhere to all workplace safety rules and precautions at all times
• Ability to move or maneuver up to 75 lbs on a regular basis and occasionally lift up to 45 lbs
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, quality-focused, and performance-driven environment
• Must be able to pass and maintain a clean drug and criminal background screening

Physical Demands

Working conditions require great mobility.  Must be able to consistently move/maneuver weights of 35 to 75 pounds and occasionally lift weights of 35 to 45 pounds. Other physical aspects require bending, stooping, squatting and standing on concrete floors, which are often wet, and doing so for long periods at a time. Also required to climb ladders, retrieve materials from storage, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibrations.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

JOB DETAILS

Looking for a hands-on summer opportunity in a manufacturing environment? This seasonal role supports production operations at Nosler by assisting with basic machine operation, material handling, and general shop support tasks.

This position is ideal for individuals who want to gain manufacturing experience, stay active, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary summer position with employment lasting less than 3 months and does not include benefits eligibility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with basic operation of manufacturing equipment under supervision
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials and components throughout production areas
• Support machine operators and technicians with general production tasks
• Perform visual quality checks on parts and materials
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace instructions at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Use basic hand tools and material handling equipment as assigned
• Work effectively as part of a team in a production environment
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and within expected timeframes

Monday - Friday

1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm
