Position Summary

The Dispatch Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily ACS and Facilities operations. This position works closely with drivers, internal teams, and customers to ensure efficient dispatching, accurate recordkeeping, and a high level of service delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving, coordination, and communication.

    

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily dispatch operations, including driver assignments and route efficiency
  • Monitor operations to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
  • Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance and operational records
  • Provide administrative support including phone management, data entry, filing, and document preparation
  • Deliver professional customer service by resolving issues and responding to inquiries promptly
  • Ensure all dispatched assignments are completed as scheduled
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and share updates
  • Assist with scheduling and routing functions as needed
  • Operate and support computerized routing systems
  • Assist with invoicing, billing, and general administrative duties
  • Compile, analyze, and maintain operational data using spreadsheets and company systems

   

Requirements – Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
  • Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and urgency in completing tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus

   

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
  • Experience in logistics, trucking, warehousing, or a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to quickly learn systems and adapt to changing priorities
