Whether you're just getting started or looking to grow in your career, we offer a workplace where you’re supported, appreciated, and empowered to thrive as you improve the lives of others in our senior living communities.

What You’ll Do:

As our Regional Support Nurse, you will serve as a clinical operations leader who provides short-term, on-site support to communities experiencing vacancies or transitions, improving the lives of our residents and driving the success of our team by:

  • Providing direct leadership coverage during Director of Healthcare, Memory Support Director or other health services vacancies, ensuring consistent service delivery and continuity of care.
  • Managing care teams during interim assignments, ensuring appropriate staffing, quality care, and adherence to individualized resident service plans.
  • Implementing and monitoring Heritage policies, documentation standards, and best practices to strengthen daily clinical operations.
  • Partnering with Executive Directors, Regional Directors of Operations, and the Vice President of Healthcare Leadership to assess needs, report findings, and support alignment across teams.
  • Partnering with the Director of Clinical Education and the community team to assist with onboarding/training for new healthcare leaders, helping to ensure smooth transitions and operational continuity.
  • Conducting care observations, medication audits, and documentation reviews to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinating care with external partners such as physicians, pharmacies, and therapy providers to ensure all orders are accurately executed.
  • Participating in care conferences, quality meetings, and family communications to actively support residents’ needs.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must possess an active and discipline-free Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Demonstrated clinical background with direct experience providing care in a healthcare setting.
  • The ability to travel 90% to the states we serve.
  • Deep understanding of person-centered care, regulatory compliance, and operational best practices in assisted living or comparable care environments.
  • The ability to assist residents with limited mobility, lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups, navigate challenging situations, and make sound decisions.
  • Strong technical skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to maintain confidential and privileged information (including HIPAA, residents, and associates).
