Due to ongoing project requirements and additional workload we want to hire a Project Scheduler to join our office team in Basel, with some travel to site included. This role will suit a Planner / Scheduler who particularly enjoys working on front end and detailed design phases of a project (and adept in all phases). You will develop, coordinate, integrate and manage project schedules on a diverse array of projects.
To do this successfully, you will have managed complex project schedules through their full project life cycle and working with multi-discipline Engineering, Design, Construction Management and Commissioning & Qualification teams. If you enjoy the dynamic nature of the Planner/Scheduler role and would prefer to be primarily office based, this may be the role for you.
This is a fulltime permanent position.
:To be successful in this role, you will have experience of the following
- Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with the client
- Establishing project objectives in line with the client and ensure goals & timelines are achieved
- Execution of projects via an established quality and management system
- The development and management of project schedules and project controls tools
- Identification of project milestones, monitor & report on same
- Leading and hosting Interactive Planning Workshops
- Critical Path development & analysis
- Liaising with project management team with regular schedule performance status reports
- Providing valued input to constructability reviews
- Establishing project schedule resource requirements
- Developing and communicating with regards the tools for the target completion of project goals
- Providing performance updates / reports views for identification of variances and corrective action plans
You will have a third level degree in a relevant discipline at a minimum and will
- Have 5 - 10 years’ experience in Project Scheduling of complex capital projects
- Be proficient in the use of Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Projects and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Have clear communication & people skills
- Have good time management skills
- Be a self-starter and decision maker
- Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential
- Fluent German and English
