The purpose of an Attendance/Records Technician is to ensure accurate attendance accounting for an
assigned school site; resolve attendance related issues; ensure compliance with state reporting and
established documentation requirements; establish and maintain records; compile and distribute
attendance and enrollment records and reports; respond to inquiries from a variety of internal and external
sources.

This job reports to a Principal.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A typical qualifying background would include any combination equivalent to:

Equivalent to graduation from high school or equivalent and two years of responsible clerical experience including one year of experience maintaining student records.

Required Documents

OPEN TESTING – Open to employees of the District and the public with the selection process resulting in one (1) Eligibility List that will be used to fill future vacancies that occur within one (1) year. Promotional candidates will receive Seniority points.

SPECIAL INFORMATION: Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a drug test, TB test, fingerprinting and may include a physical exam. The physical and drug screen are paid for by the District. The candidate's portion of the fingerprint fee is $40.00.

Salary Info

Range 45: Hiring Regular Staff $21.86- $24.13/hour. Advance step placement, up to step 3, may be considered based on previous experience and education. Current employees promotional rules apply.
