Job Description

As a member of the kitchen staff at Goat Patch Brewing Company's Grazing Goat Kitchen at our Northgate location, you will be responsible for preparing and serving quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner. You will help us create a welcoming environment by supporting our food operations with professionalism, teamwork, and a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Creation and preparation of all food menu items safely while following correct Health Code procedures
  • Maintain a clean and functional workspace
  • Maintain a clean and functional Prep Space
  • Only use equipment with care and precautions, making sure to correctly clean and sanitize after use
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and management
  • Follow and complete all checklists and duties in place
  • Hold oneself to a high and consistent standard with health and safety at the forefront of all tasks
  • Advocate for GPB including all sales, word of mouth advertisement and information relayed to customers
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures as stated in Handbook
  • Self-motivate during shift and perform activities with respect and pride
  • Responsible for safety and well-being of patrons and self
  • Responsible for accurate tracking and accounting food sales
  • Responsible for respectful and admirable representation of Goat Patch Brewing Company
  • Able to move, lift, and safely handle kitchen equipment and stored goods. Heavy lifting may be required

Qualifications: 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age as required by our license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers
  • Must have Food Safety Certification within 14 days of hire date
  • Must be able to work under pressure and handle high volumes, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service, and workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Appropriate skills developed to effectively work in a team environment with respectful and equal treatment
  • Capable of multitasking with awareness of customer needs, requests, allergens and general attentiveness
  • Basic math and literacy skills to include comprehension
    and retention
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
