As a member of the kitchen staff at Goat Patch Brewing Company's Grazing Goat Kitchen at our Northgate location, you will be responsible for preparing and serving quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner. You will help us create a welcoming environment by supporting our food operations with professionalism, teamwork, and a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creation and preparation of all food menu items safely while following correct Health Code procedures
- Maintain a clean and functional workspace
- Maintain a clean and functional Prep Space
- Only use equipment with care and precautions, making sure to correctly clean and sanitize after use
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and management
- Follow and complete all checklists and duties in place
- Hold oneself to a high and consistent standard with health and safety at the forefront of all tasks
- Advocate for GPB including all sales, word of mouth advertisement and information relayed to customers
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as stated in Handbook
- Self-motivate during shift and perform activities with respect and pride
- Responsible for safety and well-being of patrons and self
- Responsible for accurate tracking and accounting food sales
- Responsible for respectful and admirable representation of Goat Patch Brewing Company
- Able to move, lift, and safely handle kitchen equipment and stored goods. Heavy lifting may be required
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age as required by our license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers
- Must have Food Safety Certification within 14 days of hire date
- Must be able to work under pressure and handle high volumes, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service, and workmanship
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Appropriate skills developed to effectively work in a team environment with respectful and equal treatment
- Capable of multitasking with awareness of customer needs, requests, allergens and general attentiveness
- Basic math and literacy skills to include comprehension
and retention - Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
