Founded in 2006, we specialize in cybersecurity, information assurance, systems engineering, enterprise IT and network support, C4ISR, and software development, with internal R&D in extended reality (XR)—including VR, AR, and MR—for training and simulation.

Envision is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team. This position is available at multiple locations, including Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD- Fort Belvoir, VA- Huntsville, AL- Austin, TX- Tobyhanna Army Depot, PA- Letterkenny Army Depot, PA and Lakehurst, NJ.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administers, develops, runs tests on, implements, and maintains operating systems and related software.
  • Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems.
  • Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries.
  • Recommends hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts.
  • Schedules, plans, and performs system upgrades, including coordinating the transition from test to production environments.
  • Schedules tasks using software support tools and scripts.
  • Configures hardware, such as workstations, printers, servers, and tape devices.
  • Provides technical support for system users.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration
  • Strong ability to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot operating systems, hardware, and network systems
  • Experience performing system backups, upgrades, and providing technical support to users

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS-SCI Security Clearance
