The Foundation seeks an individual with deep financial acumen and strong problem-solving skills to serve as its manager of Finance. This role will oversee the accounting of the Foundation’s Investment portfolio for book- and tax-reporting purposes and will manage general ledger accounting and financial reporting efforts.  This role will also: 

  • Lead an annual audit by coordinating field work with auditors and preparing requested paperwork 
  • Oversee the timely and accurate completion of general ledger accounting
  • Manage the preparation of all financial reporting, including monthly budget to actual reports, and annual financial statements
  • Assist with reports and presentations for management and trustee meetings
  • Oversee treasury activities, including cash projections, reconciliations and risk management

 The ideal candidate will have:  

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience related to tax and financial accounting 
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in accounting (a master’s degree in accounting, finance or business is preferred)
  • Certified Public Accounting license 
  • Enthusiasm for tackling challenges and being a team player
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; and 
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Nonprofit or philanthropic experience is a plus
