What You'll Do:

  • Assist residents with the self‑administration of prescribed medications under nurse supervision, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
  • Monitor residents for medication responses, take vital signs as directed, and report changes or concerns promptly to the Charge Nurse
  • Support residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, ambulation, hydration, meals, and safe transfers while promoting independence
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment and uphold resident rights, confidentiality, infection control, and safety standards, reporting incidents or suspected abuse immediately

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED or one to three months related experience and/or training (required)
  • Active Florida Medication Technician Certification (required)
  • Active CPR Certification (preferred, can train on-site)
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively communicate with residents, visitors, and other team members
  • Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test
