Unity House of Troy is seeking a HUD Housing Specialist to support our Housing Support Services Program. This role focuses on helping individuals and families secure and maintain stable housing while fostering strong partnerships with landlords and community providers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure housing opportunities for program participants
- Provide ongoing housing support to ensure long-term stability
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community landlords
- Serve as a liaison between tenants, property owners, and service providers
- Review leases to ensure compliance with New York State laws
- Conduct apartment inspections as required
- Coordinate services and provide support to program participants
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of experience in human services or a related field (preferred), OR
- Associate degree in a related field with 2 years of experience (preferred), OR
- High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of related experience (required)
- Experience with HUD housing regulations and rental housing programs preferred
- Valid and clean New York State driver’s license
- Reliable transportation required
