Integrity is actively recruiting a CNC Lathe Leader to join our expanding team!
The CNC Lathe Leader will provide technical leadership and operational oversight for a high-precision turning department. This role is responsible for managing a sophisticated equipment fleet—including multi-axis lathes, a flagship mill-turn center, and integrated robotic cells—to produce a diverse range of 2D and 3D mold components. The CNC Lathe Leader will drive production efficiency through advanced Mastercam programming, mentorship of the machining team, and the optimization of automated manufacturing processes.
The CNC Lathe Team Leader will report directly to the Plant Manager.
We offer competitive wages, compensation for travel, health and dental benefits, a company-matched pension plan, performance based bonuses, an employee reward and recognition program, as well as many other means of employee appreciation throughout the year.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the training and development of the CNC Lathe Department
- Manage and optimize the department’s automated systems to ensure consistent production cycles and reduced downtime
- Utilize Mastercam software to develop complex toolpaths for 2-axis, multi-axis, and mill-turn applications, maximizing the use of Y-axis and high-speed live tooling
- Maximize the capabilities of the SMX and NLX platforms, ensuring proper tooling selection for high-torque turning and high-speed milling operations
- Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times and improve setup repeatability through advanced tooling selection and modular workholding strategies (e.g. sub-spindle applications, custom jaws, or modular clamping)
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years’ in a senior or lead role within a precision CNC environment
- Advanced proficiency in Mastercam, specifically for turning and mill-turn environments
- Proven experience with B-axis milling heads, sub-spindle transfers, and lower turret synchronization
- Deep understanding of Y-axis functionality and the effective application of high-speed live tooling for secondary operations
- Practical experience managing robotic loading interfaces (ABB/FlexLoader) and automated bar-feeding systems
- Deep technical knowledge of mold component geometry and the precision requirements for automotive and industrial tooling
- Ability to maximize “spindle-on” time through effective scheduling and automation
- Ability to resolve complex programming or mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime
- Ability to collaborate effectively with design teams and senior management to ensure targets are met
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
