Job Description:
The Senior Solution Design and Implementation Specialist leads the development and execution of complex customer solutions, product portfolio maintenance and internal strategic initiatives that drive business efficiency. This role involves deep technical expertise, project management skills, and strategic consulting to ensure seamless implementation of UPS technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead requirement-gathering sessions to provide strategic insights for solution development
Oversee technical implementation and integration of UPS shipping, visibility, and billing solutions
Manage end-to-end projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
Manage projects self-reliant and ensure project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met effectively
Act as a consultant, advising customers and internal stakeholders on best practices and new technologies
Provide post-deployment support, monitoring solution performance, and driving continuous improvements
Mentor and guide junior specialists, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance solution offerings
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
Preferred 3 + years of experience in solution design, implementation, or related roles in a project management environment
Technical background with expertise in integrating enterprise technology solutions
Proven ability to lead complex projects and initiatives
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities
Advanced knowledge of UPS Customer Technology and service portfolio preferred
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
At least 6 months employment track at current position in UPS (for internal candidates only)
