The JAWS team is a small, entrepreneurial group with a start-up mindset, developing a brand-new, cloud-based web analytics platform. This product will provide critical decision support for airline customers, ultimately enabling optimized scheduling for thousands of crew members worldwide. Working with modern web technologies and architecture, you will have a significant opportunity to shape both the product and the way we work.

 

Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on system design and implement business requirements
  • Deliver clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code
  • Work across team boundaries to drive architectural decisions and feature development

About You

As a Back-End Developer, you bring both technical expertise and a proactive mindset:

Qualifications & Experience

We’re looking for a well-rounded Back-End Developer with the following skills and experience:

  • Strong proficiency in Java (core requirement)
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (core requirement)
  • Fluency in English (core requirement)
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot and WebFlux
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools
  • Basic understanding of front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
  • Curiosity and interest in emerging technologies across the tech stack
  • Strong communication skills and confidence to share ideas and challenge decisions when needed
