RRP Brand Operations Manager
As co-brand steward, the incumbent is responsible for the development and management of the RRP brand in the market, with primary focus on specific areas/channels (e.g. Modern Trade vs. General Trade) or segments (e.g. Flavor or Format) by developing sustainable RRP growth strategies that are:
(1) Globally-aligned,
(2) Both consumer and commercially relevant,
(3) Based on a thorough assessment of cross- category / consumer opportunities and brand health metrics, and
(4) Fully aligned with and delivers on overall brand strategy.
They take lead in translating, activating, and adjusting brand plans within ASP period, based on a strong and holistic understanding of the brand, cross-category, consumer, and touchpoints/channels to help drive the RRP brand's competitive advantage and strengthen its position in the market.
They will ensure flawless execution of brand plans across various marketing levers available (product/innovation, communication, promotions, price, etc.)
They will work with the RRP Brand Manager in driving the brand's strategic planning process and jointly author brand ASP.
They take lead in ensuring that the 3yr (ASP period) commercial operations of the brand are sound, ncluding:
(1) Driving the commercialization of brand NPDs, in collaboration with RRP Commercialization
(2) Developing and implementing key brand launches and programs, in collaboration with CX, Digital, and Sales,
(3) Managing brand budgets with Finance, and
(4) Preparing and monitoring demand/supply plans together with Channel Planning, Supply Chain and Factory.
As the RRP Brand Operations Manager, you will:
- Drives strategic management of the brand for identified focus area/channel/segment by identifying key issues & opportunities, leading performance analysis, and developing growth strategies using various marketing levers (communications, promotions, portfolio, pricing, etc.).
This includes consumer insight generation and ensuring these are clearly translated to compelling plans and initiatives. Together with RRP Brand Manager, works on overall strategic planning process for the brand and co-authors brand ASP. - Leads the localization and execution of brand strategies into consumer-relevant and impactful initiatives that can be implemented flawlessly across areas and/or touchpoints consistently, in collaboration with CX and MarComm & PR. This includes ensuring adherence to brand positioning, equity, and guidelines across all executions, while also addressing identified growth opportunities based on a strong understanding of the different territories/regions, consumer, and channel dynamics.
- Leads quality and timely end-to-end implementation of brand projects by driving stakeholder collaboration, proper project management, and an agile approach to solving challenges. This includes collaboration with CX and MarComm & PR on creative development and content creation across omnichannel consumer touchpoints via KVs, playbooks, toolkits, for a fully-integrated launch support plan.
- Regularly monitors and analyzes cross-category and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities and develop corresponding growth strategies. Reviews brand health drivers, including new product/campaign performance metrics (distribution, volume, repeat purchase, market share, etc) to ensure performance delivery.
Works with key business partners (RRP Commercialization, CX, Data & Foresight, Sales, external agencies) to quickly identify and resolve key business opportunities identified from above analysis and performance monitoring. - Manages brand operations through responsible resource management, planning, and monitoring, which includes:
(1) Leading the proper and timely management of brand budgets, and
(2) Working closely with RRP Commercialization, Channel Planning, Supply Chain, and Factory in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for the brand to ensure minimal to no supply disruptions and write-offs.
Who are we looking for:
Education: MA/BA Degree in Marketing or business-related course
Experience:
- Min. 3-5 years proven experience acquired in JTI and/or in previous company (preferrable in RRP / FMCG / electronics industries) in Marketing.
- Experienced in strategic brand managenent, new product development and introduction, digital marketing, insighting, project management, and brand positioning/communications development.
Language Skills: English - Advanced written and oral
Functional Skills: Microsoft Applications, Power Apps
- Adept at data analysis and creative problem-solving.
- Have strong communication skills combined with solid interpersonal skills allowing you to collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Are passionate about understanding consumer motivations and building brands
- Have experience in managing and developing a team. Willing to empower team members to take initiative and to be proactive in seeking solutions
- Have excellent project management skills, able to handle multiple and complex projects.
