Job Description
  • Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the facility.
  •     Develop, implement, communicate and maintain the quality plan.
  •      Develop and implement quality metrics designed to provide performance clarity for Continuous Improvement activity.
  •      Act as the primary contact for operations quality issues from the Monette facility, implement containment actions, identify root cause, and implement corrective actions.
  •      Lead problem solving methodology (e.g. 8D, A3, etc.) with cross functional teams to identify, address and implement corrective actions using appropriate lean / six sigma tools.  Act as the Salesforce case leader of customer issues for Monette and manage/support case closure for Non-US Operations
  •     Support Operations continuous improvement initiatives through utilization of Lean / Six Sigma tools and support environment of continuous improvement for top operation issues.
  •      Lead efforts to reduce process and product variation through the use of statistical process control and Cpk studies to identify excessive variation and then to identify/implement improvement action
  •     Work directly with Maintenance, Process Techs, Operators, and other Monette personnel to identify and implement Manufacturing & Quality Engineering improvements
  •     Develop and implement local procedures as necessary to drive process standardization and align with ISO9001:2015 compliance
  •      Lead APQP / FAI / PPAP activity for new product realization and change management initiatives for DC manufactured product.  Lead initiative to develop PFMEA and Control Plans for current processes
  •     Promote a quality culture through periodic quality tool training sessions with shop floor business partners and process compliance
  • Supervise hourly direct reports in the quality department
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in injection molding/plastics industry and strong knowledge of different types of plastic resins
