    Selection Procedure:  All potential candidates for substitute teaching will be screened for an interview with Human Resources. Applicants not providing a copy of CHRC will NOT be considered. Interviews are conducted periodically throughout the year depending on need and schedule availability. The process from application to interview may take several weeks.

    Job Description:  Provide classroom coverage on an as-needed basis throughout the district, grade levels, and content areas.

    Qualifications:  

     
    • Maine Department of Education valid fingerprinting and CHRC approval.
    • Must have 60 or more College credits 
     

    Pay Scale:

     
    • Non-Certified: $130/day
    • Teacher Certified: $145/day
    • Nurse Substitute: $180/day
     

    Maine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC). A copy of your CHRC MUST be uploaded as part of your application to be considered.
