Job Description
The Project Director leads the most complex, high-value ERP transformation programs in Infor's PDR consulting practice — engagements up to $45M+ spanning multiple workstreams, geographies, and organizational layers. This is not a coordination role. The Project Director carries full accountability for program outcomes and operates as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders on the customer side.
This role requires the rare combination of enterprise-scale program governance, executive-level influence, and the leadership maturity to build high-performing teams in ambiguous, high-pressure environments. The Project Director sets the delivery standard for the practice — modeling ownership, elevating team capability, and protecting both client outcomes and Infor's commercial relationship simultaneously.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
Own program outcomes across the full lifecycle — from contract through post-go-live stabilization — across multiple concurrent workstreams, often spanning global sites and organizations.
Lead every significant stakeholder engagement from the customer's strategic business objective; translate program complexity into executive-level insight that drives decisions, not just updates.
Serve as the primary trusted advisor to C-suite and senior executive stakeholders on the customer side, navigating organizational politics, competing priorities, and high-stakes decisions with credibility and composure.
Establish and govern enterprise-scale program governance structures — executive steering committees, cross-workstream risk reviews, quality gates, and program-level reporting frameworks — with mitigation strategies in place before risks surface.
Operate as the calm, authoritative center during program complexity and crisis — communicating proactively, holding the team accountable, and protecting the client relationship when conditions deteriorate.
Lead and develop senior consulting teams across geographies, building PM and consultant capability through deliberate coaching, not just oversight — elevating those around them without being asked.
Own commercial program health: manage scope, schedule, budget, and contractual compliance at the program level, escalating with recommended paths forward and protecting Infor's delivery commitments and margin.
Basic Qualifications:
15+ years of project or program management experience, with at least 7 years leading large-scale ERP or enterprise software transformations.
Demonstrated success managing programs of $20M or greater with C-suite stakeholder accountability.
Deep expertise in program governance, commercial risk management, and multi-workstream delivery coordination.
Executive presence and communication skills — able to lead difficult conversations with senior clients and internal leadership with equal credibility.
Proven track record of developing senior talent and elevating team performance in a consulting environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Infor CloudSuite M3 implementations.
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
Experience leading global, multi-site ERP programs across complex organizational environments.
Deep familiarity with professional services delivery models, consulting economics, and contract management.
Industry background in process manufacturing, distribution, or retail.
Experience managing programs through organizational change, M&A, or restructuring on the client side
