Job Summary:

The Cashier/Floor Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing transactions and supporting store operations. This role involves operating cash registers and processing various forms of payment, including cash and credit cards. In addition, the associate will welcome customers, assist with inquiries, and resolve purchase-related issues. Floor responsibilities include maintaining inventory, organizing merchandise, and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering a positive shopping experience

Key Responsibilities:

· Greet customers warmly as they enter the store, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

· Assist customers with inquiries, including product location and price discrepancies.

· Provide information and resolve complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.

· Bag and wrap purchased items with care to enhance the customer experience.

· Monitor for signs of fraud or theft and take appropriate action as needed.

· Direct customers to various merchandise within the store to facilitate their shopping experience.

· Maintain a clean and orderly appearance throughout the sales floor to promote a pleasant shopping environment.

· Organize and hang clothing in assigned areas to ensure merchandise is presented attractively.

· Introduce and promote current sales and store promotions to customers.

· Perform other related duties as assigned to support store operations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

· Educations: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrated commitment to providing

outstanding customer service and enhancing the overall customer experience.

· Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication abilities for effective interaction with customers and team members.

· Mathematical Proficiency: Ability to handle U.S. currency accurately, with basic math skills to make change as needed.

· Technical Skills: Competence in operating cash registers and other equipment, such as computers, efficiently.

· Product Knowledge: Familiarity with the company’s products, services, and customer-related policies to assist customers effectively.

· Flexibility: Flexibility to work a schedule that meets the needs of the business.

· Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand, walk, and collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment to deliver excellent customer service.

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds as needed.

· Availability for an open schedule, including weekends and holidays.

· Capability to perform repetitive movements for extended periods.

· Must be comfortable working with second-hand merchandise.
