Job Summary: The Radio Sales Promotion Coordinator supports the sales and marketing teams by coordinating and executing promotional activities that drive listenership and advertising sales for the company’s radio stations. This role involves working closely with sales representatives, clients, and on-air talent to ensure successful implementation of promotions, contests, and events. The coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all promotional efforts align with both sales objectives and the overall marketing strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sales department in developing and executing promotional campaigns that support radio advertising and sponsorship deals.
- Coordinate on-air and digital promotions, including contests, giveaways, and special events, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to create custom promotional packages for clients that enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
- Maintain a promotional calendar, ensuring all campaigns are scheduled and executed according to plan.
- Work closely with on-air talent and programming teams to ensure smooth promotion of sponsored content and events.
- Track and analyze the success of promotional campaigns, providing reports and insights to sales and marketing teams.
- Assist in the creation of promotional materials, such as sales collateral, digital ads, and on-air scripts.
- Act as one of the points of contact for clients regarding promotional activities, ensuring all client needs are met.
- Support Marketing department in coordinating logistics for remote broadcasts, live events, and community outreach initiatives to increase station visibility.
- Effectively work with Sales, Radio, and Marketing to execute prospects or client’s participation in a campaign.
- Provide sales support to Radio Account Executives to assist with client promotional management and research.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including driving an automobile for company business.
Job Schedule: This is a full-time position primarily working 40 hours per week. You may also be called upon at times to fill in other hours and days of the week to help cover vacations, illnesses, or special projects/events. This position is not eligible to work remotely.
