SUMMARY
The Catering Coordinator ("Coordinador/a de Catering") will provide all aspects of administrative support for the Catering department; perform marketing projects and other tasks as assigned by the Director of Catering. This is an excellent entry level position into Catering, Weddings and Event Management with growth potential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Answer all incoming phone calls, direct to proper manager. Respond to voice mail messages and/or direct to proper manager.
- Greet and receive all guests, determine if guest is appointment or walk-in, direct to proper manager. Assist with sites as requested
- Responsible for distribution of weekly BEO pilot and daily changes/events to all departments. Assist managers in typing BEO’s.
- Obtain all guarantee numbers for catering events. Assist managers in obtaining account numbers and tracking client deposits and collecting final payments.
- Responsible for all weekly event reports as requested by manager or Director as well as monthly sales reports. Daily maintenance of actual sales report. Pace Booking Reports monthly. There will be extra reports requested on an individual basis.
- Responsible for booking and typing BEO’s for all in-house meetings.
- Maintain and order all supplies for Catering department./ responsible for calling service for maintenance or breakdowns of office equipment
- Perform monthly correspondence for weddings, special events, holiday parties, and other marketing projects as directed.
- Responsible for creating files and maintaining filing system for managers and Director.
- Handle repeat corporate groups with minimal food and beverage requirements.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
