Job Description

General Responsibilities: 

• Serve as a campus and community leader and provide helpful, friendly assistance in a professional manner. 

• Communicate policies and community standards to Ursinus students and guests. 

• Maintain positive working relationships, as well as communicate efficiently and effectively with college faculty, staff, and community partners.

• Conduct administrative tasks for protocol & special events and president’s office. 

• Attend staff meetings and supervision meetings as needed. 

• Assist on-call protocol staff member with responding to afterhours calls and urgent work orders 

• Work scheduled hours, approximately 15 – 25 hours per week.

o Combination of office hours (M-F between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.), designated campus events, and on-call assistance (nights and weekends). 

 Terms of Employment & Compensation: 

• Contracted dates for this position are June 1 through August 9, 2025. The SEA position is a part-time position and will not exceed 25 hours per week. 

• On-campus housing provided for 10 weeks beginning June 1 and concluding on August 9. 

• Successful applicant expected to commit to the SEA schedule including all required trainings, staff meetings, and 1-1 supervision meetings. 

o Commit to support summer programs and events during the required dates: 

• June: 2, 3, 15, 22, 27, 28 

• July: 4, 5, 10, 11, 13, 18, 19, 25, 26, 31 

• August: 1, 2, 5, 6
