Substitute School Nurse

Description:

Substitute nursing positions are for those applicants who desire to work on a "call-in" basis to cover for contractual employees in a school nurse position.

Requirements for the Position (applications will not be considered complete until all items are received)

• Completion of an application
• Copy of your current RN or LPN License must be on file
• Three (3) written references

Background Checks:

The requirement of criminal and social service background checks are required for all positions within the Colonial Heights  Public Schools.  There are no exceptions to this requirement.

Daily Pay Rates:

• Substitute Registered Nurses (RN's) are paid at a rate of $125 per day
• Substitute Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN's) are paid at a rate of $110 per day.

Hiring Dates for New Substitutes:

• Applicants will be hired during the months of August - November and during the months of January - March
