Primary Duties and Responsibilities:	To assist Maintenance personnel in building and equipment repairs. Assist in maintaining tool room operation as assigned. Pick up and delivery of materials., Inspection and preparation of university vans. Assist technicians with building and equipment repairs. Cleaning of mechanical rooms and maintenance building or other as assigned by manager. Assist in emergency and after hour repairs as needed. Must have a valid driver's license and will be required to drive for Belmont business. Minimal knowledge of building maintenance. Demonstrates the ability to read and write in order to follow written direction and instruction. Demonstrates the ability to work with hands and work in labor intensive situations following instruction of the maintenance manager. Ability to work from pencil sketches and diagrams Skill and care in the use of University vehicles and tools. Knowledge of safety hazards involved in lifting and general labor practices. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to respond to high-pressure situations. Ability to thrive in an environment of hard work. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Required Education	High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience	1-2 years experience in a building or mechanical trade preferred.

The selected candidate will be required to complete a background check satisfactory to the University.
