Job Description

FIELD STAFFING RECRUITER 

The Field Staffing Recruiter performs full cycle recruiting of field personnel taking a proactive, results driven approach to staffing; promoting the company, building relationships with candidates, and ensuring all staffing needs are met in a timely manner

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES:
•    Consults with Workforce Coordinator to determine daily recruitment needs to ensure all staffing requests are met in a timely manner
•    Evaluates and understands job requirements and skill set required for each job site
•    Sources and recruits candidates by using applicant tracking system, online job boards, and social media 
•    Determines applicant’s skill level, work history, and experience by conducting effective phone interviews, documenting responses, and reference checking to analyze and compare candidate qualifications, to job requirements
•    Presents employment offers, communicating company expectations and job site requirements to all new hires 
•    Schedules new hire employee orientation, and notifies appropriate parties of incoming new hires 
•    Places advertisements via company website, online job boards, and labor service providers as directed by HR Manager
•    Attends  local and regional job fairs
•    Responds to applicant inquiries via email or phone
•    Ensures the applicant tracking system is up to date, accurate, and utilized to ensure equal employment and affirmative action purposes
•    Updates interview templates as needed to assist in selecting the best candidates as directed by HR Manager
•    Follows the hiring procedures policy in all aspects of recruiting function
•    Administers onboarding of newly hired employees in ATS, assigning and tracking progress
•    Attends and take notes in weekly workforce projection meeting
•    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; may perform a variety of duties including those of other positions

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:    
•    High school diploma or GED required.  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration preferred
•    Two or more years of experience working in a similar position preferred
•    Previous experience using MS Office required
•    PHR or SHRM - CP Certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
•    Must possess strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
•    Must be able to demonstrate professional, proactive, and confident approach via phone conversations to effectively produce results
•    Adjusts quickly to changing hiring needs and finds creative solutions in competitive labor markets.
•    Must possess high proficiency, speed, and accuracy with typing skills   
•    Must be self-motivated and goal-oriented; able to demonstrate a proactive, results orientated approach to work
•    Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access experience preferred 
•    Ability to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently
•    Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and be able to improve performance through management feedback
•    Experience with applicant tracking system, and HRIS strongly preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
•    Ability to hear, comprehend and speak
•    Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
•    Ability to work with standard office equipment
•    Ability to sit for long periods of time

CONTINUING EDUCATION
•    Establish goals with individual Career Development Plan and continue with professional education and development

OTHER:
•    Working outside of normal business hours may be required to meet staffing demands, deadlines, or operational needs.
