Qualified applicants must hold or be eligible for Connecticut certification in special education.

-Public school experience with students displaying social/emotional/behavioral needs.
-Experience in behavior management (development of and implementation of behavior plans).
-Ability to analyze data.
-Demonstrates proficiency with wide range of programs and technologies.
-Desire to work in a structured and supported classroom.
-Collaborative working style.
-Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
-Effective, active listening skills.
-Organizational and problem solving skills.
-Specialized reading instruction skills preferred.
