LEAD SERVER

The Kling House Restaurant – Kitchen Kettle Village


Intercourse, Pa | Part-time | $13-$14 per hour + tips (based on experience and availability)


Kitchen Kettle Village is looking for energetic, guest‑focused individuals with a passion for hospitality and great food. This active Lead Server role includes being on your feet for the entire shift and meeting physical job requirements. Responsibilities include leading front‑of‑house service, running drink service, using the Toast POS and hosting system, and supporting/training the server team. What You’ll Do

  • Lead front-of-house operations during your shift, helping direct the flow of service and supporting the server team.
  • Run drink service (coffee, tea, sodas, specialty drinks) and maintain the server and dish areas.
  • Train new servers using our training guide and steps of service, and model strong hospitality on the floor.
  • Use Toast POS and hosting systems to seat guests, take reservations, and ring in orders accurately.
  • Handle guest payments, discounts, and voids, and complete/confirm server cash-outs.
  • Close the register and cash drawer when scheduled as key holder, reporting any discrepancies to the Captain or Coach.
  • Help keep the dining room, lobby, restrooms, and entry areas clean, stocked, and welcoming for guests.
  • Assist with guest recovery and table-to-table visits to ensure satisfaction and create unforgettable moments.
  • Support servers and bussers during busy times, including expediting food as needed.
  • Help guests with directions to Village shops and local attractions, sharing your knowledge of the Village.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.


What You Bring

  • Communication excellence
  • Previous restaurant, server, or guest service experience preferred.
  • Comfortable leading by example, giving friendly feedback, and supporting your team under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to stay calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly as guest needs and volume change throughout the day.
  • Availability to work Monday through Saturday, including most Saturdays and some holidays; hours may decrease in winter.
