Agilix Solutions is seeking a Lifecycle Services Specialist for our Memphis, TN location. This role is responsible for defining the business strategy for Lifecycle Services, including consulting services, transactional services, Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) contracts, and the associated automation hardware and software portfolio. The specialist serves as the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and the distributor and acts as the domain expert for the Lifecycle Services business through ongoing professional development and knowledge‑sharing with internal services and sales teams. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include coordinating across multiple teams, incorporating value‑added services, developing performance reports, and participating in sales strategy meetings, account planning, and both pre‑ and post‑sales support.
This role will report to the Director of Services & Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent customer support within the APR and serve as the primary point of contact for transactional services and ARR contracts.
- Address and resolve technical questions and objections related to assigned products, transactional services, and ARR contracts; communicate technical and commercial issues to Rockwell Automation Domain Experts and business units.
- Develop and execute competency plans and training programs for the APR, distributor sales teams, specialists, and personal development.
- Lead commercial activities to drive conversions at key accounts; identify and pursue competitive target accounts; support sales in maintaining a strong opportunity funnel for Automation and Power business segments.
- Create, own, and execute business plans for each planning segment, including analysis of market conditions, competitive offerings, and growth opportunities.
- Maintain understanding of complementary product lines and provide product selection and design guidance for assigned products in common configurations.
- Clearly differentiate products and solutions from competitors and articulate Rockwell Automation’s technical and commercial value proposition.
- Communicate the benefits of industrial networks and secure network infrastructure; apply foundational knowledge of panel design, PLCs, SCADA programming, and Intelligent Motor Control.
- Support development and execution of the distributor business plan for Automation; lead Automation commercial programs, marketing initiatives, promotions, product launches, customer events, and related activities.
- Coordinate sales teaming efforts to identify and close conversions and project opportunities; ensure accurate documentation of value‑added benefits delivered through proposed solutions.
- Meet or exceed business revenue growth targets and management objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience; electrical distribution experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, associate degree in a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of Automation standards, terminology, and control systems; knowledge of Rockwell Automation Integrator Architecture is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Automation Control and HMI applications, along with foundational computer/technology skills.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills; ability to influence and guide team members as needed.
