Job Description

Adapt Integrated Health Care is looking for a qualified Mobile Crisis Therapist to join their team! 

 

The Mobile Crisis Therapist responsibilities are to engage and respond to crisis intervention in the community; facilitate access for mental health treatment at Adapt Integrated Health Care; provide therapeutic interventions including informed consent, advocacy, and integrated care; assist with access to community resources; facilitate development and retention of natural and community supports; provide appropriate individual, group, and community psycho-education; actively work to reduce stigma, barriers, and to build a community foundation for success. Provide consultation, coordination and collaboration with community partners and providers, Discharge Summary and continuity of care through transfer and referral. Crisis therapist may have assignments to specialized crisis populations (i.e. ACT, EASA, PSRB, .370, Jail Diversion, etc.).


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field with experience in a mental health setting.
  • Licensed providers preferred.
  • Current MHACBO eligibility/registration as a QMHP or current Oregon Licensing Board Associate Registration
  • Must be 21+ and possess a valid Driver’s License.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Co-deploy with law enforcement and emergency medical services to increase officer and client safety to provide de-escalation, suicide prevention, crisis counseling, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, grief and loss counseling, harm reduction, and connection to mental health and substance use disorder treatment. 
  • Provides client-centered, trauma-informed services through risk assessments and director’s custody evaluations for adult and youth and family populations 
  • QMHP will collaborate with clientele in consultation with in-house and mobile crisis team. 
  • Complete safety and recovery plans for individuals who are high risk or for those whom a safety and recovery plan would benefit 
  • Completes and maintains records, reports, and documentation as required by departmental policies and state law; provides written documentation and communications 
  • Participates in professional development through individual and group supervision, unit and agency staff meetings, workshops and Litmos tutorials; develops, modifies, or obtains training programs and materials in consultation with Director and Supervisor; promotes peer professional development by sharing training materials and / or training others in successful interventions Required to achieve productivity standards as set for and outlined by Supervisor 
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and Adapt guidelines including but not limited to accurate and timely documentation 
  • Provides oversight to and clinical direction to crisis QMHA’s.
  • Performs unique duties, as assigned by Director or Supervisor, to meet agency needs 
  • Report for duty following an activation of a public health emergency response plan
