Position Summary

ICAN Vice Presidents provide strategic leadership across multiple programs or operational functions. This role translates agency strategy into coordinated action, ensures quality and compliance, and is accountable for outcomes, staff leadership, fiscal oversight, and mission alignment.


The Vice President of Integrated Care is responsible for ICAN’s portfolio of clinical and managed care programs and services.

Position-Specific Responsibilities


Programs / Operational Functions Overseen

  • All clinical services including but not limited to Youth ACT, HBCI, Children’s Crisis Residence, and clinic.

  • All managed care services including but not limited to CFTSS and HARP services.

Key Outcomes & KPIs

  • Service quality: consistent implementation standards across programs and contracts; reduced variability through SOPs and coaching.

  • Outcomes: program and contract indicators (as dictated by oversight agencies and ICAN) with documented improvement. Adherence to all licenses and regulations.

  • Operational reliability: staffing ratios, coverage, referral-to-service timeliness, and documentation compliance across programs.

  • Client satisfaction: client and contractor satisfaction and responsiveness metrics.

  • Financial stewardship: budget adherence by contract/program; margin and utilization monitoring; corrective action on variances.

  • Workforce development: manager/director capability building; retention and succession readiness within teams.

Budget / Funding Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of all budgets associated with integrated services, including programmatic and administrative expenses.

  • Analyze budget-to-actual performance and implement corrective strategies as needed.

  • Develop, recommend, and manage annual and multi-year budgets aligned with organizational strategic priorities and contract expectations.

  • Contribute to grant proposal development, including program design, budgets, and outcome frameworks.

Community & Partner Relationships

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with nonprofit organizations, local governments, service providers, and community leaders.

  • Strengthen cross-sector partnerships to improve service coordination and community impact.

  • Identify partnership opportunities that expand service reach and resource alignment.

  • Support collective impact and systems-level collaboration efforts.


Education/Experience

  • BA/BS required; Master’s preferred in a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience.

  • Proven success in managing multi-sector collaborations and high-impact, programs and services.

  • Strong understanding of systems of care, trauma-informed practices, and equity-based community engagement.

  • Extensive experience with budget management and grant compliance.

  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and partnership-building skills.
