About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator for a unique hybrid position. This role offers variety and cross-training across strategic partners within our facility, providing exposure to diverse equipment and manufacturing processes. You’ll work closely with an experienced lead who is dedicated to mentoring and helping you build your skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate metal manufacturing equipment including stamping machines, press brakes, steel cutting, punch presses, shears, and grinders
  • Perform metal stamping, shearing, and steel work operations
  • Conduct deburring and finishing tasks
  • Package and prepare parts for shipment
  • Safely operate forklifts to move materials and products
  • Maintain high quality standards through attention to detail
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Participate in cross-training and support multiple company operations as needed

Skills Needed

  • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Forklift operation skills (or willingness to be trained and certified)
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Knowledge Required

  • Understanding of metal manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Familiarity with safety procedures in an industrial setting
  • Awareness of quality control standards in production environments

Ability to Implement

  • Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Apply measurement and calculation skills during production
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently
  • Adapt to different tasks and equipment through cross-training
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Schedule & Compensation

  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Pay: $17–$20/hour based on experience
  • Consistent schedule with weekends off
