As part of our growth we are looking for a Process Assistant in Malta, - where you will be part of a global and dynamic team, integral to supporting the Malta business in fighting fraud and piracy!

 

Position Summary & Objective

The Process Assistant (PA) is a flexible manufacturing operative role which is key to ensuring self-sufficiency manufacturing team. The role forms part of a team of operatives on one cell/line on a shift, within one of the main business units of the site. Working closely with the Process Operative (PO) and Process Leader (PL), within the cell/line the PA will be responsible for the productive output of the cell in line with established throughput targets, for loading and unloading of materials, sustaining workplace organisation and working diligently within Standard Operating & Quality Procedures whilst supporting the process operative and process leaders in their duties towards delivering target QCD performance. 

 

Essential Functions Performed by the Position

 

  • Safety and Security awareness towards a zero-incident mentality. 
  • A Right First Time Quality approach to quality 
  • Achieve target throughputs to plan on an hourly/daily/shift/week basis [PDCA] 
  • Contribute towards achieving OEE targets and change overs to standard. 
  • Operate within SOPs 
  • Sustain Process Documentation  
  • Participate in Problem solving  
  • Participate in 8 wastes reduction initiatives and Operational Excellence training/projects. 
  • To understand the principles and comply with practices of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and Continuous Improvement. 
  • Material Control & reconciliation 
  • Pack final product using the Track and Trace systems (Certify, MSL, GPS, Sage etc...) 
  • Perform in line and end of line checks as per product criteria and record data in QIS 
  • Material management, WIP management, WIP room upkeep and requisitions for materials to meet production volumes 
  • Use of Track and Trace software to manage perso and packing 
  • Tracks material, personal clocking, production figures, make readies and other production data in the ERP (Sage X3 SFDC)
