Job Description

Position Department: Corporate Partnerships and Relationships



Position School: Administration: No School




Learning Objectives:


Students hired as a Corporate Partnership Student Worker will learn how to effectively communicate with other administrators, faculty, staff, and Corporate Partners. The student will learn professional communication, time management, and clerical skills.


Responsibilities


Assist in preparing Corporate Partnership training/programming materials and maintain accurate record keeping and all of the clerical duties involved, including but not limited to:



  • Assist with coordinating printing materials with the print center.

  • Assist Corporate Partnership staff during training sessions held on campus.

  • Run errands on campus, assist with mailing (such as assembling informational packets), and making copies.

  • Other administrative duties or special projects as assigned.


Coordinate, support and promote Corporate Partnership events and programs (both virtual and in person)


Assist in developing content for social media, emails, and all other appropriate methods of communication.


Model professional behavior and etiquette at work at all Corporate Partnership activities, events, and programs.





Minimum Qualifications:



  • Currently enrolled a sophomore, junior, or senior with a minimum of 1 semester of attendance at RMU

  • G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher,

  • Reliable, strong work ethic,

  • Punctual and dependable,

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, must be comfortable talking with students, staff, and faculty,

  • Strong interpersonal skills,

  • Willingness to learn and work with minimal direct supervision,

  • Must be comfortable navigating the campus,

  • Must be a student in good standing at RMU.





Academic Years Preferred: Any Academic Year Will Be Considered



Wage: 10



Wage Frequency: Hourly
